Val & Steve tied the knot on July 24th during a beautiful ceremony at St. John the Baptiste in Amherstburg. It ended up to be one of the rainiest weekends so far. Severe storms were forecast for Saturday but the rain held out long enough to get through the ceremony, to the Art Gallery & eventually to the Ciociaro Club. And even thoughh it was oppressively humid everyone was very cool inside the Art Gallery which was a perfect backdrop for Val & Steve’s wedding photos. I love shooting couples at the Art Gallery! Afterwards, we all headed out to the Ciociaro Club where the hall was beautifully decorated in blue. Val & Steve showed off their natural talent as models, (I think you’ll agree). It was a beautiful wedding & I am so grateful that I got to document another wonderful couple. Thank you Val & Steve

What a perfect day for the fashion shoot for Bridal Confidential Magazine. We conceived a “Fantasy” concept with Diane’s property & horses from Designs by Diane as the background, exaggerated hairstyles from Classic Re Creations & over the top make-up from Nadia & Rasha of Glow Makeup Studios. Our models, Meagan, Alicia & Angelika were absolutely fantastic as well as patient. Working with horses was especially challenging but everyone’s efforts paid off! The results are below. Thanks to everyone who participated!!

What a perfect day for Nicole & Tyson!!! Here’s a couple who really enjoyed their day & showed off their personalities. Both of them love making faces & hamming it up for the camera, so it was fun & easy to shoot my way through the day. Their shoes were even embellished with their wedding date….a couple of real-life romantics, I’d say! This is the same couple who posed with their beautiful dobs for engagement photos awhile back with a crazy array of colourful grafitti as a backdrop for their unique personalities. Congratulations to you both Nicole & Tyson! I had a blast with your fun antics…loved the dinner (absolutely amazing) & am very grateful that you chose me for your wedding photographer. Thank you!!

Kristy & Alex wanted some photos that were different & away from the formal garden backdrops that are sometimes used for wedding photos, so we headed to an overgrown warehouse area. Red brick, abandoned buildings, unkempt property does make for an awesome background that certainly does stand out. The whole wedding party was co-operative & I had lots of fun, yet again! Another perfect day for a great couple!! Dinner was fantastic & I absolutely loved sharing your special day. I just love my job!! Congrats Kristy & Alex…..may you enjoy many, many years together in love! Your wedding photographer loves ya!

Like kids around a fire hydrant in the hot, humid weather these little feathered friends enjoyed a little sip & dip in our backyard birdbath. The bluejay just wanted a little drink while the fat, little robin was especially delighted in finding relief from the recent area heatwave. Lucky my camera just happened to be handy to capture these shots.

Beth & Earl tied the knot at Ambassador Golf Club On Friday June 11, where they met playing their favourite game…..golf. We even got to take a few shots on the green on a perfectly beautiful day. Congrats to you both!….& may you enjoy many golf games together in the future.

I was beyond thrilled when Val & Steve asked me to do their engagement shoot to emulate a fashion shoot……and anyone who knows me knows how much fun I have doing fashion work. Val & Steve were just as excited as I & willing to pose endlessly to get these great shots. I swear they look like professional models! Event photography is so much fun because you never know what to expect but it’s also demanding because you have to organize a lot of people. Anyhoo, the girls were great & it was like a pub crawl as we visited bars & restaurants in the downtown & Erie St. areas. Some of the places we visited were: Mezzo, Chanosos, Lefty’s Lounge, La Contessa, The Beach.
