AMHERSTBURG WEDDING FOR VALERIE & STEVE AT ST. JOHN THE BAPTISTE

Val & Steve tied the knot on July 24th during a beautiful ceremony at St. John the Baptiste in Amherstburg. It ended up to be one of the rainiest weekends so far. Severe storms were forecast for Saturday but the rain held out long enough to get through the ceremony, to the Art Gallery & eventually to the Ciociaro Club. And even thoughh it was oppressively humid everyone was very cool inside the Art Gallery which was a perfect backdrop for Val & Steve’s wedding photos. I love shooting couples at the Art Gallery! Afterwards, we all headed out to the Ciociaro Club where the hall was beautifully decorated in blue. Val & Steve showed off their natural talent as models, (I think you’ll agree). It was a beautiful wedding & I am so grateful that I got to document another wonderful couple. Thank you Val & Steve I’m so glad you chose me as your wedding photographer. I had a great time! Wishing you both many happy years together

BRIDAL CONFIDENTIAL WEDDING FASHION SHOOT FOR 2010

What a perfect day for the fashion shoot for Bridal Confidential Magazine. We conceived a “Fantasy” concept with Diane’s property & horses from Designs by Diane as the background, exaggerated hairstyles from Classic Re Creations & over the top make-up from Nadia & Rasha of Glow Makeup Studios. Our models, Meagan, Alicia & Angelika were absolutely fantastic as well as patient. Working with horses was especially challenging but everyone’s efforts paid off! The results are below. Thanks to everyone who participated!!

URBAN LOOK WEDDING IN WINDSOR FOR KRISTY & ALEX, JULY 3

Kristy & Alex wanted some photos that were different & away from the formal garden backdrops that are sometimes used for wedding photos, so we headed to an overgrown warehouse area. Red brick, abandoned buildings, unkempt property does make for an awesome background that certainly does stand out. The whole wedding party was co-operative & I had lots of fun, yet again! Another perfect day for a great couple!! Dinner was fantastic & I absolutely loved sharing your special day. I just love my job!! Congrats Kristy & Alex…..may you enjoy many, many years together in love! Your wedding photographer loves ya!

WPPI LAS VEGAS HIGHLIGHTS in MARCH!

I’ve had quite a busy and exciting month traveling to Las Vegas for the annual Portrait and Photography convention (WPPI), then to Los Angeles, back to Vegas then on to Sonoma’s Nappa Valley, Santa Clarita and then to San Francisco. I second shot for a good friend, William Innes of William Innes Photography, two weddings and an engagement session in and around the Los Angeles/ Frisco areas. There will be plenty of pics to follow so keep your eyes out!!! I had an absolutely fantastic, awesome time; learned a lot and even ran into a couple in San Francisco whose wedding I shot….can you belive it? Once in a lifetime experience and lots of what I love to do ….travel. I just consider myself so blessed to have such great people in my life and the opportunity to do what I love to do.

Dates are officially reserved with a signed contract & retainer. A retainer of $500 is required to reserve your date.

Windsor Wedding Photographer Receives Big Thank Yous!

Just received another note (below) from a satisfied couple & again it has made my day!! Nicole & Matt say how lucky they were to find me but I say how lucky I was to have met this couple. I had so much fun & feel they are kindred spirits. More importantly, I have gained another friend & feel very privileged to have preserved this couple’s wedding memories!! I can’t thank you enough for the amazing job you did with our wedding pictures! Looking at them shows a perfect blend of your artistic style and professional skill. There was just the right amount of formal and journalistic photos. Who could ask for anything more?
