HAPPY 90′TH ELI!!!

Nancy from Ottawa brought her father Eli, into the studio for a portrait session to celebrate his 90′th birthday. You can see what a handsome man he is. I loved his spiffy suit and tie and of course his great sense of humour. He kept me in stitches during the time he was here! So great to do what I do just to meet great people like Eli. Happy Birthday, Eli!!!!!

It was fun shooting Manon with her two beautiful teenage daughters Caroline & Audreanne. The pics will be heading to family in Quebec. Olde Walkerville was the location for these lifestyle pics of Marissa & Dan by Britton Images Photography. They are celebrating their wedding anniversary of 2006 & wanted something more recent to have as keepsakes. Marissa & Dan are a couple who have also become friends since I did their wedding. It’s so rewarding to make friends with the bridal couples I meet because I get to document their life in a way…celebrating their anniversaries, birth of their children along with other life events. Instead of just passing through their lives I get to become part of their lives. Makes me feel like I have a family that just keeps growing with the years! As always, I feel very blessed and grateful. I am so thrilled at how they turned out & so glad they wanted to wander around outside to get a storytelling feel outside of the studio setting. Congrats to you both Marissa & Dan!! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness.

Debbie and her two adult kids, their spouses and a first-born grandson join up for some light hearted fun during this casual holiday shoot. Their main intentions were to get images for this year’s Christmas cards. It’s not hard to figure out that Charlette & Brayden want Dylan to be a firefighter just like his dad, but Dylan was a wee bit too tired to agree or diasgree.

This past weekend, I visited Heather and her wonderful family. We decided to go out to take advantage of the vibrant fall colours and the warm sunshine–and take some pictures, of course. The maples around Heather’s house were in peak colour and the kids were full of energy. I had a lot of fun seeing everyone again, and capturing some memories in the process. Check out some of my favourites, including one of me and Heather– we haven’t had a picture together in forever!
